Password Reset Not Working
OK, here is the deal: Yesterday, my password stopped working for some odd reason--No, I didn't give out my account name to anyone or anything like that--Secondly, I don't understand why it would quit working only hours after I had logged off. But the deal is, why can I not reset my password? My E-Mail address doesn't work anymore so I deleted it--I got a new one.
Let me try to explain this to the best of my ability: The E-Mail address for my account name for some reason can't recieve e-mail. So I pressed Reset Password on the login screen, then I went to PlayNC.com or whatever, created an account there. So it asks me for my Serial Number to register so I can get my password, but the Serial Number doesn't work--Yes, I tried it over and over but it still doesn't work.--No, I am not entering in the wrong code. Any idea why any of this is happening? Or stuff not working? submit a support ticket to support giving all information you have.
changing your email has no effect unless you logged in and changed it before this happened. support is very helpful/efficient from my personal experience |

you *can* change the default email for your playNC acct, that may work for the email link which you'll need to get to reset your password.

Okay, I've changed my PlayNC account, but I still recieve no e-mail confirmation regarding my password...

PlayNC is probably the worst company dealing with passwords/secret questions and information I've ever seen, if you expecting them to get you your password back, you got a lots of weeks to wait and stuff to do for them, good luck anyway.

I don't understand why they just can't change my account name or give me my password. It's not like it is that hard--Or, simply, not allowed this to happen in the first place--that would be nice. But... Whatever, this seems like it will take forever, so I guess I'll quit worrying about it.

I cant do this either... wanted a change (security reasons) and it redirects me to PlayNC...which i dont have an account for.
Created account... tried to add GW key.. got error message. Ah well. |

No. When you want to change your pass after going to the store and getting your GW account locked to the new PlayNC account, you don't have to make another account. It's already there.
Just go to log in and put the first part of your email there. Like, [email protected] (not my real email). You would put in Smile Like Umean It as your log in name. The whole thing won't always fit so just type what will. I think the password is the same as your GW account. |
